The Gilbertson Funeral Home was originally founded in 1896 by E.W. Gilbertson. It is said to be the second oldest business in Devils Lake. Since its beginnings, the Gilbertson Funeral Home has been proud to be an independent and family owned business. The previous owners include E.W. Gilbertson, the Almon Strong family, Luther Hultgren family, LaVerne Gloger family, and most recently Rodger and Connie Haugen. The Funeral Home is now owned and operated by its sixth independent owner, Stephanie Armstrong.
The Gilbertson Funeral Home family will continue to serve those in need with dignity, care and compassion and to always provide affordable, quality services to the Lake Region area.
