Regina Margaret Chepulis

Regina M. Chepulis, 82 of Devils Lake, ND died on Wednesday morning, December 22, 2004 at the Good Samaritan Center, Devils Lake. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 27, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Devils Lake. Fr. C.F. Wilhelm will celebrate the Mass and burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Devils Lake. Friends may call at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Sunday, December 26, 2004 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Vigil Service at 3:00 p.m. Visitation on Monday will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral Mass. Regina Margaret Bosch was born on April 21, 1922 in Ramsey County, North Dakota the daughter of Michael and Katherine (Senger) Bosch. She was reared and educated in Ramsey County. She attended St. Mary’s Academy in Devils Lake. Regina spent many of her younger years with her aunt and uncle, George and Josephine Kuntz. On June 11, 1945, Regina was united in marriage to Frank Chepulis at Devils Lake, ND. They established their home in Churchs Ferry. In 1955, they moved to a farm near Devils Lake where Regina spent her life as a devoted wife and loving and caring mother to her eight boys. In 1999, they moved into Devils Lake to be closer to their family. Frank died on December 20, 2002. Regina was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Regina loved to cook and do gardening. She was very talented in the kitchen and was able to create fantastic new dishes and recipes. Her family was her greatest joy and will be greatly missed by them and all her friends. Regina is survived by her Sons and Daughters-In-Law: John and Bonnie Chepulis, Columbus, Montana Paul and Elaine Chepulis, Devils Lake, ND Gary and Diane Chepulis, Minot, ND David and Karen Chepulis, Hardin, MT Steve and Laurie Chepulis, Devils Lake Twins:Daniel and Julia Chepulis, Donald “Butch” and Rhonda Chepulis, both of Devils Lake Twenty-two Grandchildren Fifteen Great Grandchildren Sisters: Emma Miller, Tolna, ND Leona Nelson, Everett, Washington Mary Lauinger, Margaret Lange Brothers: Joseph Bosch Michael Bosch all of Devils Lake Paul Bosch of Arnold Bosch, Devils Lake George Bosch, Garrison, ND Edward Bosch, Minot, ND She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; son, Richard Chepulis; brothers, Anton and Lawrence Bosch.
