Henry D. Klindt, 50 of Devils Lake, ND died on Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake. Funeral Services for Henry will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home Chapel, Devils Lake. Fr. Joseph Christensen will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Devils Lake. Friends may call at the Gilbertson Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Scripture Service at 6:00 p.m. Visitation on Saturday will be from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Henry Daniel Klindt was born on January 12, 1954 in Crookston, Minnesota the son of Louis J. and Anna K. (Blair) Klindt. He was reared and educated in Wauban, Minnesota. Henry moved to North Dakota in 1971. He worked as a mechanic most of his life in many different cities in North Dakota. While living in the Fargo area, he worked at United Tool and managed 29 apartment complexes. In 1985, he moved to Devils Lake where he has made his home through the years. He was employed at Knetter Cheese in Lakota and also worked at McDougall’s in small engine repair for several years before ill health forced him to retire. Henry was at one time married to Susan Schultz. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Henry loved to always be “fixing things” and was a very good handyman. He loved spending time with his family and taking care of his grandson, Farnum Leslie as he made his home with them the past six years. Henry is survived by his Children: Wendy Schultz, Devils Lake Farnum Klindt and his wife, Jessica, Florida Tabitha Arnaud and her husband, Derek Brian Klindt Heather Klindt all of Devils Lake Grandchildren: Farnum Leslie Schultz; Katie and Ethan Klindt and Haylee Snider Brothers and Sisters: Louis Klindt Ann Pruitt, Hibbing, MN Joe Klindt and his wife, Karen, Germany Dorothy Anderson, Hibbing, MN Richard Klindt, Grand Forks, ND Sandy Skaggs also of Hibbing James Klindt and his wife, Roberta, Lakota, ND Several Nieces and Nephews He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Bernadette Klindt; brother-in-law, Jim Skaggs.
