Mikal James Wakefield

Mikal J. Wakefield, 7 years old of St. Michael, ND died on Sunday, January 9, 2005 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident near St. Cloud, MN Serving as Pallbearers will be Cam Sigette, Scott Sigette, Troy Sigette, Mark Sigette, Steven Sigette, Barry Wakefield, Jennifer Wakefield and Elizabeth Wonderlich. Mikal James Wakefield was born on November 28, 1997 at Devils Lake, ND the son of Thomas J. and Loydene (Sigette) Wakefield. He was a first grader at Prairie View School in Devils Lake. He was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and was also part of the Sunday School Program. He was also a hockey player with the Devils Lake Hockey Program. Mikal loved going to UND hockey games and flying with his Dad and family. Mikal is survived by his Mother: Loydene Brother: Lucus Grandparents: Stan and Pat Sigette Victoria Wakefield both of Devils Lake Maternal Great Grandmother: Margaret Quam, Devils Lake Aunts and Uncles: Cam (Karla) Sigette, Devils Lake Sue (Pearce) Sunderland, Gulfport, Mississippi Scott (Lisa) Sigette, Devils Lake Troy (Janelle) Sigette, Bismarck Mark Sigette, Steven Sigette Beth (Peter) Schuler all of Fargo Kristen (Christopher) Scholand, Shannon (Steven) Bergee, both of West Fargo Robert (Rochelle) Wakefield, Staten Island, New York Richard (Aida) Wakefield, Grand Forks William (Gayle) Wakefield, Daniel Wakefield, both of Devils Lake Mary (Charles Christianson) Wakefield, Grand Forks Jacqueline (Fritz Wonderlich) Wakefield, Twin Falls, Idaho Many cousins also survive. Mikal was preceded in death by his grandfather, Daniel L. Wakefield and uncle, James Wakefield.
