Anna Marie Two Hearts made her journey to the Spirit World on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Essentia Medical Center in Fargo ND.

The Wake for Anna will be on Monday, February 2, 2026 at the Fort Totten Recreation Center beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a time of prayer and remembrance at 7:00 p.m. The procession to Fort Totten will leave on Monday at 4:00 p.m. from City Plaza. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Fort Totten Recreation Center. Burial will be in St. Jerome's Cemetery in the spring of 2026. 

Anna Marie was born at Fort Yates, North Dakota on September 14, 1974 to Lora Lee (Bull Bear) and Timothy Two Hearts Sr. She was the oldest of 8 siblings. She grew up in a close knit family, having a strong sibling bond.

Anna Marie’s schooling years were spent at Theodore Jamerson Elementary School, Four Winds Elementary , Circle of Nations (formerly Wahpeton Indian School), and the Northwest Technical College in Moorhead.

Anna enjoyed listening to music, reading, and chatting with her loved ones through social media. She was a sports fanatic. She was a true and loyal fan of the Minnesota Vikings, also a fan of the New York Yankees, the Timberwolves of the NBA, and her #1 favorite college basketball team, Gonzaga.

Anna felt blessed with many treasures in her life and also faced some challenges. She faced anxiety with courage and honesty, often reaching out to friends and loved ones for support. Through heartfelt messages and conversations, she found comfort in the compassion and encouragement of those who cared for her!

Anna’s loving family include her children Jordan Two Hearts , Amber Rose Two Hearts, Jayda Two Hearts Runnels, Aaliyah Bruce and Stormy Runnels (deceased); grandson Garrion Runnels; mother Lora Lee Bull Bear Two Hearts; siblings Timothy Two Hearts Jr. of Fargo, Crystal Two Hearts (Bruce) of Bismarck, SherRae Two Hearts, Fargo, Lisa Two Hearts, Tokio, JoniLee (Rico) Thornton, Bismarck and Laura Two Hearts, Fargo; nineteen nieces and nephews including special nephew and nieces Laken Two Hearts, Delaine Skinner, Aiyana Ross, Ebony Thornton, Lenayah Warren and Danny Two Hearts; life partner Daniel Jacobs; aunts and uncles Bernard (Val) Two Hearts Sr., Cleatus Two Hearts, Isaac Two Hearts, Allen Bull Bear, Irene Bull Bear, Patricia Two Hearts, Cathy Two Hearts, Rebecca Two Hearts, Carolyn Walking Eagle; many, many precious cousins and other relatives.

She was reunited with her father Timothy Two Hearts Sr.; son Stormy; brother John Two Hearts; grandparents Leo and Stella (RedWater) Bull Bear and Michael and Rachael (Smith) Two Hearts Sr.; aunts and uncles Karen Bull Bear, MaryLou Bull Bear, Juliet Bull Bear, Eunice Bull Bear, Leola Bull Bear, Byron Bull Bear and infant Glen Bull Bear, Julia Two Hearts, Annie Two Hearts Woods, Jerome Two Hearts, Michael Two Hearts Jr., John Two Hearts, Francis Two Hearts, David Ronald Two Hearts, Norman Two Hearts and an aunt and uncle in infancy and many dear cousins.
