Archie Redfox III

Archie RedFox, III. 42 of rural Warwick, ND began his spiritual journey on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND, with his loving family and friends beside him.

Visitation will be held at the Tokio Recreation Center on Monday, June 2, 2025, beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 8:00 p.m. The procession to Tokio will leave on Friday at 4:00 p.m. from the City Plaza. Funeral Services for Archie will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Tokio Recreation Center with burial in the Bdecan Presbyterian Cemetery. Archie was born on January 21, 1983, to the late Archie Red Fox Jr. and Geraldine (Thompson) Red Fox, in Devils Lake, ND. He attended Warwick Public School, where he graduated in 2001. While in school, Archie played basketball and enjoyed spending time with his friends. After graduating, Archie attended culinary school in Phoenix, Arizona. He was employed at various locations within Spirit Lake Nation, including the Woodlake and Crow Hill Recreation Centers, Spirit Lake Casino, helped build grain bins, and most recently at Cankdeska Cikana Community College.

Archie spent the majority of his time caring for nieces and nephews. He helped raise Katherine Wenzel, Maressa, Carson, Mephis, and Allen Red Fox. He enjoyed fixing cars, teasing, and naming anyone he met. He loved traveling and would take every opportunity to see something new. He would play pool, go fishing, shoot around, sit and laugh with family and friends.

Pallbearers: Joel Red Fox Jr., Natrace Red Fox, Allen Redfox, Michael Tollfeson, Michael Greywater, Conrad Cavanaugh, Wilson White Shield, Tyler Red Fox. 

Honorary Pallbearers: Brandon Feather, Royce McKay, James and Jake Lenoir, Joseph Little, Vandis Little, Cooper Longie, Jason LaRock, Seth Estenson, Luther Hinton, and staff at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. 

Archie is survived by his daughter Marshane; special nieces Maressa, Kartherine, Natrace, Autumn; nephews Joel Jr. and Allen; mother Geraldine; brothers Monty, David, Troy (Joan), Joel Sr., Tyler, and adopted brother Bruce Touche; sisters Mariam (Manny) Vega and Natalie Hunts Along; aunts Alberta Redfox, Sharon Georgeson, Viola Thompson and Leola White; uncle Louis Garcia. Many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. 

Preceded in death by his father Archie Red Fox Jr., brothers Marion “Med” Redfox, Mahlan "Mash" Redfox, sisters Melissa Redfox and Michelle Redfox, grandparents Archie and Gertrude (Crow), and John and Katherine (Greywind) Thompson, aunts, Joan Redfox, Annie Redfox, Hilda Garcia, Elizabeth Redfox, Violet Smith, Miriam Redfox Vega and Alvina "Kabeebs" Thompson, uncles Robert Red Fox, Calvin Thompson, Frances Tikanye, and Arthur Thompson, and many cousins and other relatives.
