Barbara Ann Wold

Barbara Ann Wold, 78 of Devils Lake formerly of Nanson ND passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at CHI, St. Alexius Health, Devils Lake Hospital.

Barbara Ann was born on August 13, 1942 at the Rolette Community Hospital, the daughter of Carl and Carrie (Knudsvig) Wold.  She grew up and was educated in Nanson ND.  She was baptized on September 20, 1942 at the Lunde Church and was confirmed in 1957 at the Mylo Lutheran Church.  She lived a happy life at home with her parents for many years.

After the death of her mother, Barbara moved to the Good Samaritan Home in Arthur ND and later transferred to the Dunseith Community Nursing Home at Dunseith ND.  Since 1987, Barbara has been a client of Lake Region Corporation in Devils Lake where she enjoyed many years of love, fellowship and community life.  She especially enjoyed living closer to family cousins. 

Barbara loved to visit, to go on outings, listening to music and participating in all the activities of LRC. 

Barbara is survived by her cousins, the Bonn family and the staff and consumers of LRC. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carrie in 1965 and Carl in 1982. 

Funeral Services for Barbara will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake ND with Reverend Steven Wirth officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Ox Creek Cemetery, rural Nanson beside her beloved parents.
