Brandon Black, 40 of St. Michael, ND began his journey to the Spirit World on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Loving family with him as he began his journey.

His children - Tayshaun, Aiden, Brandon Jr., Michael and Audrina Black. Keyshawn, Landon, Ryan, Reggie and Jeremiah Black.

Brandon was raised in St. Micheal, ND and attended Warwick High School. Brandon worked various jobs including the Spirit Lake Casino and Gleason construction. Brandon enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Brandon loved to visit, joke around and put a smile on their face. Brandon would invite people into his home if they needed a place to stay, he had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. Brandon enjoyed fishing, throwing horseshoes in the summer, teaching his sons about football, playing basketball and drawing. Brandon will be forever missed by his family and friends.

The Wake for Brandon will be on Thursday, February 19th, 2026 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at St. Michael's Wellness Center with a time of Prayer and Remembrance at 7:00 p.m. The procession to St. Michael will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday from City Plaza, Devils Lake.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Wellness Center with Reverend Paul Schuster officiating.
