Cameron A. Bonde, 95 of Devils Lake formerly of Michigan ND passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at the Lakota Good Samaritan Center. 
 
 Cameron Allen Bonde was born on January 8, 1929 in Williams Township, Nelson County, ND the son of Clarence and Laura (Langstaff) Bonde. He was reared and educated in the Michigan area. He attended Williams Township County School and graduated from Michigan High School with the class of 1947.

Cameron farmed with his Dad for many years, then eventually took over the operation of the farm. In 1997, Cameron retired and moved to Devils Lake. 

Cameron loved farming. He was a good steward of the land the Lord blessed him with. 

Cameron never missed a chance at a cup of good coffee, good conversation, and a trip to the Casino with family and friends. He took such pride in his car and loved driving around the country side.  He was frequently seen at Hardees’ with his good friends enjoying a hardy breakfast. 

Cameron is survived by his loving sister Charlotte Barney of Michigan, ND; niece Kathleen “Kate” Barney, nephews Lance (Georgette) Barney, Paul Barney, John (Brenda) Swenseth, Scott (Loretta) Swenseth and Warren (Connie) Swenseth; several grand nieces and grand nnephews and their families. 

He joins in Heaven his parents, brother Cameron Langstaff Bonde in infancy, sister Evlyn L. Swenseth, brothers-in-law Donald Swenseth and Milton Barney, nephews David Barney and Michael Barney. 

Services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake with burial to follow in the Michigan Cemetery.
