Funeral Services for Carl will be on Monday, May 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake with burial in the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery, rural Doyon, ND. 

Carl John Rasmussen, 40 of Grand Forks, ND died Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND.

Carl John Rasmussen was born August 10, 1982, the son of Katherine (Ebertz) and Everett Rasmussen Sr. of Crary, ND.  He lived on the family farm attending Crary and Lakota School, until family moved to Devils Lake where he attended Devils Lake High School.

As an adult he lived in St. Thomas, Grafton and finally Grand Forks where he enjoyed spending time with friends and family.

Carl is survived by his loving family. His sisters Marie (Luther) Koapke, St. Thomas ND, Margo (Doyle) Aas, Grafton ND, Valerie Rogers, Mountain Home AR, Kylie (Brad) Osowski, also St. Thomas; brother Mark Rasmussen, also of Grafton; sister-in-law Roberta Rasmussen, Lakota ND; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Katherine and Everett Rasmussen Sr., brother Everett Rasmussen Jr., brother-in-law Kelly Rogers, grandparents Carl and Margaret Rasmussen, Nick and Violet Ebertz, nephew Steve Rasmussen and several uncles and cousins.
