Carl R. Schmid

Carl Robert Schmid, age 70, passed away on May 7, 2024 at the Towner County Living Center in Cando, ND. He was born on November 12,1957 to Glen and Norma (Gilbertson) Schmid.

 He graduated from Minnewaukan High school and went to the Wahpeton State School of Science.  He worked as a diesel mechanic for Clairmont until his motorcycle accident in 1979.

 After his accident Carl spent his life in Minnewaukan until moving to the Towner County Living Center.  Carl loved being outside walking his dog, hunting, and fishing.  He also enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds. He was a very big Twins and Cubs baseball enthusiast.
