Cheyenne Littleghost, 41 of Fargo formerly of Spirit Lake Nation passed away on Monday, March 1, 2020 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.
Visitation for Cheyenne will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial for Cheyenne will be on Friday, March 13th at 10:00 a.m. with Father Paul Schuster celebrating the Mass. The procession to St. Michael will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday from City Plaza.
Cheyenne Littleghost was born April 22, 1978 in Devils Lake, ND the son of Lawrence “Josh” Littleghost Jr. Cheyenne eventually moved to Fargo, where he lived at the Cooper House. While in Fargo, he worked at several places but most recently at the Fargo Dome.
He loved listening to music and reading. His favorite bands were Metallica, Bone Thugs N Harmony and Testament. He also like to visit people at Family Health and at the Salvation Army/
Cheyenne was well known for his quick wit and humor; he could bring laughter to any room, he loved to laugh all day and every day, there was never a dull moment with Cheyenne. He enjoyed making this trips around to see his friends. His favorite saying to all and everyone who know him was … Later!
Cheyenne is survived by his daughter Diserae Littleghost; brothers Terry Ross, Christopher Whiteshield, Josh Littleghost, Lawrence Littleghost III; sisters Crystal Norquay, Angelic Whiteshield, Ayla Bouvier, Kera Moffett, Ladeen Littleghost; grandpas Leroy Littleghost and Philip “Skip” Longie; grandmas Helena Littleghost, Libby Littleghost, Elaine Robertson and Pauline Graywater; aunts Jeaneen Littleghost, Noreen Littleghost, Marva (John) Tollefson, Roberta Littleghost and Lois Chaske; uncles Loren Littleghost and Louie Chaske; many dear nieces, nephews and cousins. Cheyenne loved you all.
He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Littleghost Jr., sister Geraldine Ross Olson, brother Lucas Littleghost, grandparents Lawrence Littleghost Sr. and Geraldine Young, aunts and uncles Stacey Littleghost, Karen Littleghost, Wanda Gonzales Littleghost and LuAnne Littleghost.
Pallbearers for Cheyenne will be Terry Ross, Torrence Gibson, Maurice Gibson, Brandon Gibson, Logan Littleghost and Bryon Littleghost. Honorary Pallbearers are all of Cheyenne’ many dear relatives and friends.
