Clarence F. Morin passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Altru Hospital, Devils Lake surrounded by his loving family.

The Wake for Clarence will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the Tekakwitha Center, St. Michael, ND beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary and Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. The procession to St. Michael will leave on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. from City Plaza, Devils Lake.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church with burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

Clarence Francis Morin was born on July 26, 1978 to Andrew Morin Sr. and Brenda Mae Merrick at Mercy Hospital, Devils Lake, ND. He spent and lived his childhood in St. Michael.

Clarence loved riding motorcycle, riding bike, hunting, playing basketball along with horse shoes and fishing. He especially loved visiting with his kids, family and friends.

His first job was in Security at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks for 2-3 years. While in Grand Forks he worked earnestly to earn his GED. He then moved on to become a Correctional Officer in Devils Lake. He then worked with table games at the Spirit Lake Casino and Resort and ended his working life as a Game Warden for Spirit Lake Fish and Wildlife.

Clarence was so proud to be the Dad to his 9 children. Tamara Black-Morin, Clarence Morin Jr., Sarah DeLeon (Emanuel), Ian Morin (Cassandra), Savannah Morin, Valdon Morin, Rylie Morin, Dominic Morin. They were his treasures and his joy.

Clarence’s loving family include his children Tamara “Tami”, Clarence Jr., Sarah, Ian, Savannah, Valdon, Rylie, Dominic and Fulton; grandchildren Audreya, Amari, Octavia, Jiraiya, Colby, Aaliyah, and Aladia; brothers Douglas Morin, Lyle Morin, Lane Adams Sr., and Jason LaRock; sisters Lori Morin, Jennifer LaRock, and Julie Morin; uncle Kevin Morin; aunts Cathy (James) Yankton, Bonita Morin, Patricia WalkingEagle, and Marsha Morin; many dear nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and relatives. Sorry if we missed anyone, as this is a difficult time.

Clarence was reunited with is Mom and Dad, brother Andrew “Andy” Morin Jr., maternal grandparents Frank and Pauline Merrick, paternal grandparents Frank and Bettie Morin, uncle Charlie Morin, aunts Debbie Merrick, and Debbie Morin, nephews Jonah Little and Darrett Mudgett.

Pallbearers: Robert “Bobby” Little, Lyle Morin, Clarence Morin Jr., Aaron Ironheart, Joseph Yankton, Landon Morin, Harv LaRock, and Daniel Azure.

Honorary Bearers will be:, Amy Longie, Kirsten Redfox, George Longie Jr., Donovan Robertson, Shanda Littlewind and family, Donna Baker, Cindy Azure, Iris Yankton, Penny Yankton, Chief Waanatan, Devonne Robertson and family, Angie Yankton, Wayne Comer, Lonna and Richard Street, Tasha Davis, Rebecca Bear and the Hospice Staff.
