Connie Lynn Ebach, age 63 of Devils Lake, North Dakota, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Monday, June 23, 2025. She left behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion for others.
Funeral Services for Connie will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Odd Fellows Chapel, Devils Lake with Pastor Jeff Kapelle officiating. Burial will be in Stony Lake Cemetery, rural Minnewaukan.
Connie was born, January 2, 1962 in Valley City, ND the daughter of Glenn and Charlene “Joyce” (Vang) Hanson. She spent her early years in the Minnewaukan and Warwick communities. She attended Minnewaukan School, where she was active in cheerleading, and later graduated from Warwick High School.
Early in life, Connie met Roger Ebach and they married at the First Baptist Church in Devils Lake. They moved and built a life together in Beaumont, Texas, where Connie devoted herself to raising their three children. Connie was a gifted painter, known for her eye for detail and her artistic touch. She brought that talent into her professional life, working for Carter and Company and alongside family in their business, Hanson Painting Service.
Connie had a heart as big as Texas. She left a lasting impression on everyone she met-bringing warmth, laughter, and love wherever she went. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend. Her deep love for her children which allowed her to always be a permanent fixture cheering her boys on at their sporting events. Connie also loved her grandchildren, and this was evident in everything she did for them to put a smile on their faces.
Connie was a woman of strong faith who loved Jesus and made it a priority to plant that spiritual seed in her children’s hearts from a young age. She had a joyful sense of humor, a kind soul, and a beauty that radiated from the inside out.
She had many passions-she adored listening to Journey, Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, and classic hymns and watching old Westerns. She loved watching her movies and series. Her favorites usually were on Lifetime or Hallmark. She enjoyed indulging in Mexican cuisine, Southern comfort foods, and having ice cream for dessert.
Connie will be missed beyond words but remembered with love by all who had the honor of knowing her.
She is survived by her children: Brannon (Denise) Hanson, Billy Ebach, Kayla (Matt) Houle, Bella Davis, and Bradden Davis; grandkids Brooke Davis, Bryson Davis, Breanna (Emanuel) Castillo, Brannon Hanson Jr., Ben Ebach, Allie Ebach, and Zoey Williams; great grandkids Lucas and Sophia; mother Joyce Hanson; her eight brothers and sisters Layle (Emy) Hanson, Shelly (Dennis) Weed, Charlene (Todd) Burrell, Brian (Maria) Hanson, Cheri (Jason) Hoffart, Jeremy (Wendy) Hanson, Joel (Gay) Hanson and John Hanson; many nieces, nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her father Glenn Hanson, both sets of grandparents and her former husband Roger Ebach.
