Daniel “Danny” Lee Mac Donald, 62, of Tualatin, Oregon, passed away on November 15, 2024, at Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center.

He was born to James and Mary Ann Mac Donald in Devils Lake, North Dakota, on August 13, 1962. He was raised and educated in Devils Lake. He finished his high school education at Anaconda Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in Anaconda, Montana.

Danny had a passion for building. He started in North Dakota with grain bins and then moved on to homes, apartments, and commercial medical centers in Oregon, Washington, and California. He has spent the last three decades living and working in Oregon.

Daniel is survived Mother, Mary Ann Mac Donald of Devils Lake, ND; Brothers: Kent Mac Donald of Tualatin, Oregon, Micheal (Rosanna) Mac Donald of Parish, Florida, half-brother Larry Mac Donald of Cando, ND; Sisters: Mary Jo Mac Donald of Devils Lake, ND, Melissa Moser (Steve) of Devils Lake, ND, and half-sister Jamie Berndt (Brandon) of Jamestown, ND. His nieces and nephews are Kali Jo Mac Donald, Dylan Moser and Alexis (Oliver) Moser-Hogan-Qualkinbush, Mylee and Mia Berndt, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father James Mac Donald, Brother and Sister-In-Law Kevin and Patty Mac Donald, Maternal Grandparents Regina and John Eisele and Parental Grandparents Louise and Morrison Mac Donald.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. A memorial service will be held the first weekend in August at the Devils Lake Cemetery Columbarium where friends and family will gather to celebrate Danny’s life, share stories, and honor his life.
