Donna M. Dyer, 70 of Devils Lake ND passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at Eventide Heartland Care Center in the loving care of family and the HIA Hospice.

Donna M. Wilhelmi was born on May 23, 1955 in Devils Lake ND, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Steffan) Wilhelmi. She grew up in the Starkweather area, attended Starkweather Public School, graduated in 1973 from Starkweather High School.

From 1979 to 1987, Donna lived and worked in Bismarck. She was employed with the ND Department of Motor Vehicles and was a Black Jack dealer. In 1987, Donna worked in the gold mines in Elko and Laughlin, Nevada.

Eventually, Donna moved to Devils Lake to be closer to family and call it home. She worked for a time at Community Options and also had her own business selling beautiful creations of arts and crafts.

Donna is survived by her daughter Kahla Dyer Dunn of Gurnee, Illinois and grandchildren Tristen and Tessa; son Michael Dyer, Elko, Nevada; siblings Duane (Leni) Wilhelmi, Spring Creek, NV, Jack (Kathy) Wilhelmi, Starkweather, Linda (Jack) Gaa, Fargo ND, and Tom (Val) Wilhelmi; many nieces, nephews and their families.

She was reunited with her parents, daughter Hannah Michelle Dyer, brother Robert “Bob” Wilhelmi, sisters Patricia (George) Larson and Kay Wilhelmi and other dear relatives.
