Ella Jane Lafrombois (Brown), age 74 of St Michael, ND, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on December 27, 1951 in Fort Totten, ND, she was the daughter of Hagel Brown and Frances Ross Brown. She grew up in St Michael, ND.
Ella worked for the Spirit Lake Tribe for many years in the CHR program.
Her greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed Sewing, making star quilts for her family, playing on her iPad, watching YouTube, watching murder mysteries, traveling, mom was a gypsy and could never stay in one place, she loved thrift store shopping and collecting green glass & elephants, she always found thrift stores where ever she went. Mom had a beautiful kind heart and always gave to people who needed.
The family would like to thank HIA hospice staff & Caregivers, Dr Vaagen & Sue, for their compassionate care. To all moms friends & Hunka sisters & relatives that came to help us care for her and visit with her in her final days. It meant a lot to her family for their support.
Our mother will be deeply missed and forever loved.
