Henry George Schmidt

Please join us at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. for a time of prayer and to show our support to the family. Reverend Lori Pankratz, Pastor St. Olaf Lutheran Church will officiate. 

Henry George Schmidt, precious son of Kesad Schmidt and Larissa Olson was born and died on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at CHI, St. Alexius Health, Devils Lake Hospital.

From the moment we knew of this precious child, we looked forward to so many happy moments, happy years, happy events that would be shared. Henry George, you will forever in our hearts and memories.

Henry’s loving family include his parents Larissa and Kesad; brother Rueben Schmidt; grandparents Wendy and Wendell Olson and Tad and Cindy Schmidt; great grandparents Betty Nygren, Duane and Ruthann Olson, Margy Stone, Gerald and Linda Schmidt; aunts and uncles Alayna and Treyson Morrow, Jael and Brandon Towers, Lyon Schmidt, Tad Schmidt Jr., Seth and Heidi Schmidt and many cousins.

He was welcomed into the arms of his great grandparents Larry Nygren, Francis Stone and Wendell Nickerson.
