Janice Marlene Sager

Janice M. Sager, 85, of Devils Lake, ND, passed away on February 13, 2024.

 Janice Marlene Geller was born in Hampden, ND, on May 14, 1938, to Charles and Rose Geller.  She was the youngest of eight siblings.

Jan met the love of her life, William (Bill) Sager, at the Memorial Building in Devils Lake, and on October 1, 1960, they were married.  They made their home in Devils Lake. Jan worked at the phone company, the family hardware store, a local greenhouse, and later at the Trails West Hotel where she retired from.  

She was also an active member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She kept busy after retirement with card tournaments, entertaining, making beautiful stained glass pieces, cooking for her family, and especially gardening. She always made the holidays special for her family.

Jan is survived by her husband, Bill; sons, Todd (Deanna) Sager, Kent Sager, Troy Sager, Kyle (Sara) Sager; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.

A small family gathering is planned for this spring.
