Lakeela Linda Dunn (Cooley)

Lakeela Linda Dunn, precious infant daughter of Michelle Cooley and Lionel Dunn was born on Monday, October 28, 2019 and passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

This beautiful child of God, touched our hearts and gave us so much joy in her very short life. We loved her so very much and will treasure her forever.

Lakeela’s loving family include her parents Lionel and Michelle; sister EmmaRae Dunn; brothers Kenyon Dunn, Kendrick Dunn and Kaiden Dunn; grandparents Michael Cooley Jr., Tayron Dunn and Carmen Littlewind; great grandma Winona Fox; aunts and uncles Dustin Dunn, Austin Littlewind, Michael Dunn, Kaylene Dunn, Chad DeMarce, David Dunn, Terry Dunn, Kyle Dunn, Cody Dunn, Trevor Yankton, Tayla Mae Dunn, Adriane Shaw, Bruce Littlewind, Joseph Fox, John Strait, Michael Cooley III, Micah Cooley, Isaiah Stricker, Holly and Molly Fox; godparent Micah Cooley; many great aunts, great uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Linda Carol Fox, Laidman Fox Sr., Angeline Alberts, Theresa Littlewind and Ambrose Littlewind; uncles Justin Strait, Jeffrey Strait, Aaron Dunn and Mitchell Littlewind.

Casket Bearers for Lakeela will be Micah Cooley, John Strait, Alfred Thompson Jr. and Sylvester “Son” LIttlewind Jr.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at the Crow Hill Wellness Center, rural Fort Totten beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a time of Prayer at 7:00 p.m. The procession to Crow Hill will leave on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. from City Plaza. 

Funeral Services for Lakeela will be on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. also at Crow Hill Wellness Center with Pastor Paul Young officiating.
