Lawrence T. Johnson

Lawrence T. Johnson, 89 a lifelong resident of Devils Lake ND passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Eventide Heartland Care Center, Devils Lake.

Lawrence was born on August 28, 1932 in Devils Lake, ND to Andrew and Harriet (Newhouse) Johnson.  He was united in marriage to Irene (Fah) on March 2, 1953 in Devils Lake.

Lawrence worked at North Central Granite starting at the age of 16, purchasing the business and working there until his retirement in 1999. 

Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife Irene, parents Andrew and Harriet, son James L. Johnson and brother Harold S. Johnson.  He is survived by his son Jerry (Kara) Johnson, daughter-in-law Paula Johnson, grandchildren Jeremiah, Daniel, Michael, and Alisha, great grandchildren Soren, Archer, and Riley. 

Funeral Services for Lawrence will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Devils Lake ND with burial in the Devils Lake Cemetery.
