Obituary

Londa Mary Keo

"Canku Wakan Omani Winyan"

"Walks the Sacred Road Woman)

Our beautiful baby Sis, daughter, Mom, auntie, niece, and cousin Londa Mary (Littleghost) Keo was born to Robert “Bobby” Littleghost and Bernadine Littlewind on April 16, 1980, in Devils Lake, North Dakota. Londa passed to Spirit World on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at her home with her loving children with her.

Londa grew up in the St. Michael area with all her brothers and sisters. She attended school at Warwick and Four Winds.

She met the love of her life Duane Keo in 1996 and a few years later they brought their first son Durell into the world. They made their home in Crow Hill and welcomed into the family two more children, Keemya and Keenan. Londa and Duane married on June 4, 2010, in Crow Hill.

Londa spent a lot of her adult years working for Spirit Lake Casino. The current job she had was for the Marina Gas Station. Londa loved spending time with her family fishing and hunting. Being a mother was her proudest moment in life.

Time with family and friends were a priority in her life. She attended all basketball games so she could support her boys. She was so very proud of her only daughter Keemya who was on the A Honor Roll. She loved how smart and bright a young lady she had become.

Londa lost her husband in 2020 to COVID, but she remained strong for her kids. In 2023 she lost her son Durell. She struggled with the loss of both husband and son. In these later years, Mitchell Keo became a very special friend to Londa.

Londa was a devoted mother to her children. She enjoyed trips to visit grandmothers Helena and Cora and favorite Uncle Richard. She loved Saturday and Sunday rummaging with her mother and sister Rhonda. She loved playing Bar Bingo and enjoying quality time with her siblings.

She enjoyed collecting beaded earrings and assorted boots of unique styles and to her liking.

She was a woman who loved her children, mother, and siblings with her whole heart, and she lit up every gathering with family and friends, always ready for a good time surrounded by the people she cherished.

Londa loving family include her children Keemya and Keenan; mother Bernadine Littlewind; second mom Brenda Jackson; 9 sisters Tonda, Rhonda, Wanda, Bobbie, Bobbiette, Trenda, Raven, Lacey and Charris; 3 brothers Robert Jr., Rusty and Fabian; grandmas Cora Iceman and Helena Littleghost; aunts Marcella Green, Bonita Littleghost, Beada Littleghost, Johanna Hunt, Trudy Iceman, Arliss Krulish and Arlene Krulish; 3 uncles Delmer Iceman, Darren Iceman and Richard Littleghost; godparents Keith and Lois Leben; father-in-law Dennis Keo; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
