Lyndon Galen GreyBear Jr., “Mato Gi” age 24 of the Spirit Lake Nation was born on March 11, 2001 in Devils Lake, ND the son of Yolanda Meyers and Pedro Meyers. He was found deceased on March 21, 2025 in Gallop, New Mexico.
Lyndon attended school in Fort Totten and graduated from Four Winds High School with the class of 2020. After graduating he worked with Sound General Contracting (building construction) in the Lake Region area. He moved to Grand Forks for a time then moved back to the Spirit Lake Nation and again worked as a general laborer for a local contractor.
Lyndon was a quiet, humble, no-fuss type of person. He loved his culture, the traditions he grew up with. He enjoyed the simple things in life, like hunting, fishing, the great outdoors. He had such a kind and compassionate heart for animals, especially his dogs.
That kindness, compassion, love, and his beautiful smile will be so very missed, but always in our memories.
Lyndon is survived by his parents Yolanda and Pedro; sisters Kissandra GreyBear, Kissara GreyBear, Kaycee Meyers and Jayzlee Meyers; brothers Cyris GreyBear, Wakinyan GreyBear, Jonathan Meyers, Tanner Meyers and Whalen Meyers. Several Grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
He was united with his Creator and many dear family, relatives and friends.
