Lynette Joy Stone, “Nesky” 51 of St. Paul, Minnesota unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at her home.
Lynette was born on March 17,1971 to Francis Brown and Cynthia Stone in St. Paul, Minnesota where she lived with her family. Lynette preferred to be called Nesky by most people. While growing up in St. Paul, her mother passed away. Most of her siblings moved to North Dakota or northern Minnesota. Nesky stayed in the St. Paul area with extended family, her first choice of being independent, however she would visit her North Dakota family in the summers when she could.
Lynette was adopted into a few families in the St. Paul area, while finding her self-reliance she became a young mother to Donovan Stone, a few years later she had Jordan Stone. Nesky had a motherly nature about her, she cared so much about people, she even worked in the healthcare industry with many different clients she had personal connections with. After raising her two older boys she surprisingly got pregnant with Nino Stone. Then after the most recent passing of her niece Cynthia she chose to extend her family and raise Cynthia’s son Anthony.
Nesky was a hustler, a hardworking mother, she enjoyed life and she loved to cook. She always had to be doing something. She especially loved to visit and be social with family and friends; she was always able to make new friends with her kindness, sense of humor and good conversation.
Nesky was a friend, a sister, a mother, an aunt, and most recently a proud grandmother to her four grandchildren, Donovan Jr (Papa), Jakobe (Jelly Bean), Damaria (Stookie) and Samaria (Phat Phat). She was treasured by many people; although her life on this earth was short her warmth and happiness she gave to us cannot be overstated; our memories of her are many and in our hearts forever.
