Mary M. "Maggie" Moxness

Mary "Auntie Maggie" Moxness went to her spiritual home on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at her home in the loving care of her family.

Mary was born on November 28, 1933 to George and Margaret (Lone Dog) Hunt. With the passing of her mother at the age of three, Maggie spent her childhood growing up with her nieces and nephews under the care of her sister Janette and William Longie Sr. and her father George.

Maggie was married to William "Chip" Strait and from this marriage came six beautiful children: Bill Jr., Nancy, Frank, Marty, Michael and John.  She then married John Moxness and with this marriage came two more beautiful children: Shane and Shelly.  Her husband John left for Heaven on November 23, 1987.  Maggie spent the rest of her life with her special friend Dennis.

Maggie was a caring mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed. She enjoyed visiting her grandchildren, children, nieces, nephews and friends. She spent time with friends at the Casino and playing Bingo and fishing.
