Micheal T. Tandeski, 82 of Devils Lake formerly of Bottineau ND passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Eventide Heartland Care Center, Devils Lake. 

Micheal Thomas Tandeski was born July 22, 1938 in Esmond, North Dakota to Thomas and Margaret Fix Tandeski. He was reared on the family farm east of Maddock and attended a nearby country school.

He married Janice Burgess on January 30, 1960 in Maddock. Later they were divorced and Micheal moved to Rolette, North Dakota where he owned and operated a successful road building and excavation business. He later retired to his farm in Bottineau, North Dakota where he resided until 2017, at which time he became a resident of Eventide/Heartland in Devils Lake, North Dakota. Mike loved renovating tractors/machinery, gardening, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting and keeping his many bird feeders filled (he loved his hummingbirds) and he was always ready to help his neighbors. He enjoyed the outdoors and nature immensely. One of his favorite outdoor enjoyments was fishing on Jerry and Renee’s pontoon with them and the grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Brenda, Jerry (Renee), Kimberly (Jamie), Margaret, Jeffrey and Mark (Julie); grandchildren, Leanne (Cody), Clifton (Krystal), Jesse, Joshua (Alyssa), Sierra (Landon), MaKayla (Rylie), Branden, Logan, Mason, Garret, and Carter; great-grandchildren, Elodie, Mayvre, Boyd, Collin, Ryker, Colter, Kyson, Amiya, Layne and Emmet; sisters, Ruth McCloud, Maddock and Marie Delizonna, San Jose, CA; and brothers, James, Fargo and Thomas (Annette), Maddock; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ignatius, Edward, Frank and Dennis; sisters, Lena, Loretta, Agnes, Dorothy and Florence; sisters-in-law, Lorraine, Lorna and Diane; son-in-law, Brad Cichos; great-grandchild, Liberty Jo Amdahl and his beloved dog companion - Alex.
