Myron Abraham was born on August 31, 1966 in Devils Lake, ND the son of Melvin and Lorraine (Thomas) Greybear. He grew up on the Spirit Lake Nation. He graduated from Four Winds High School where he excelled in Track and Field and continued throughout his life to enjoy watching those events in person or on TV. He continued his education at United Tribes College in Bismarck, ND, earning a Degree in Criminal Justice. After completing training at the Police Academy he worked for several years as a Police Officer with the Fort Totten Police Department.
Myron treasured all of his children. His children Lynelle, Myranda and Myron Jr. with Leona LaRoque; children Ilana, Keeley and Brady with Lori McKay and his baby Samantha with Stephanie Whiteman.
Myron worked a variety of jobs while living on the Spirit Lake Nation, but recently health issues had forced him to retire. He spent much of his time indoors watching his favorite situation comedies on TV. But if he had a chance to get out of the house, he never turned down just the fun of riding around, visiting family and friends.
Our dear Dad, grandpa, great grandpa, brother, uncle, cousin and friend gone too soon, but will never be forgotten as we give him back to his Creator and all those who have gone before him.
Myron’s loving family include his children Lanelle Greybear, Myranda Greybear, Myron Greybear Jr., Ilana Greybear, Keeley Greybear, Brady (Brooklynne) Greybear, and Samantha Greybear; many precious grandchildren and one great grandchild; brothers Bentley (Melissa) Greybear Sr. and Melvin Greybear Jr.; lots of cousins and other relatives.
He is reunited with his parents, brother Loren Greybear, sisters Colette Greybear, and Jewel Greybear Tuttle, grandmas Lottie (Old Rock) Greybear Brown and Rosalie (Littlewind) Thomas and other special relatives.
