Robert “Juggy” Brown Jr. began his earthly journey on February 19, 1977 at Mercy Hospital in Devils Lake ND. He was the son of the late Robert Brown Sr. and Sylvia (Thompson) Hale.

He attended and graduated from Four Winds High School. He went on to attend Burdick Job Corp in Minot ND soon after graduation.  He enlisted in the Marines in 1999.  He worked various jobs throughout the Lake Region.

Robert loved to do things outdoors. He enjoyed taking walks, picking juneberries, sage, cutting wood, and spending time with the family.  He was an all-around funny guy.  There was never a serious moment with him.  He was always doing or saying something goofy.  Everyone enjoyed his company.  He was active in the Native American Church.  Cooking fry bread was one of his favorite things to do in the kitchen.  Robert was always ready to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it.  He was thoughtful and caring.

He was an amazing son, a cool brother and loving father to two beautiful children. He cherished his family and loved them in a way only he could.  He will be greatly missed by all those he shared a laugh with and he will be forever remembered by all the nicknames he accumulated throughout his lifetime.
