Robin Harrison

The precious life of our dear Robin Harrison, born on Friday, November 10, 1972 in Devils Lake, ND to the late Ambrose Thompson Sr. and Florine Harrison. Robin passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025 in Devils Lake due to heart related health complications.

Robin grew up on the Spirit Lake Nation, attended St. Michael’s School in her early years, then later Fort Totten School. She held various jobs in the Devils Lake area and on the Spirit Lake Nation.

She loved to be around her family and children and also hunka family in St. Michael. She enjoyed hanging out with friend, and gambling-she was lucky at that!

Robin will be forever loved and truly missed.

Robin’s loving family includes her children whom she loved and adored: sons Demetre Harrison and Wylee Belgarde; daughters Candice Brown, Precious Wanna and Tessi Harrison; many dear grandchildren; her mother Florine Harrison; grandmother Catherine Howard; sisters Althelia Harrison, Blossom Harrison, Magdelin Harrison, Madeline Harrison, Germaine Thompson, Selena Thompson, Marcella Thompson and Delphine Thompson; adopted sisters Arlene Belgarde and Elrae McDonald; brothers Myron Harrison SR., Gerard Thompson Sr., and Ambrose Thompson Jr. and many nieces and nephews.

Robin joins in death her father Ambrose A. Thompson Sr., sisters Candice Harrison, Roxanne Harrison and Anna Chaske, brothers Bradley Thompson, Lyle Harrison and Delbert Harrison, brothers-in-law Randy Miller and Dion Horse, uncles Zachary Thompson and Raymond Thompson, aunt Lena Denne, grandmother Irene McKay and many loving nieces, nephews and relatives.

Active Pallbearers: Jake Miller, Garrett Fox, Joe Williams, Brandon Harrison, Stephon Delorme, Tyler Harrison, Keegan Thompson, and Jordan Harrison.

So sorry if we missed anybody, her death was sudden.

Visitation will be held at St. Michael’s Recreation Center on Sunday, November 23, 2025 beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a time of prayer and remembrance at 7:00 p.m. The procession to St. Michael will leave at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday from the old Walmart parking lot.

Funeral Services will be at St. Michael’s Recreation Center on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Gerard Thompson officiating. Robin will be laid to rest at the Native American Church Cemetery, rural St. Michael, ND

All Drum Groups and Singers are welcome to share their music in memory of Robin.
