Rosella Mae (Ginther) Aronson, 81 of life-long resident of the Southam/Crary/Doyon, North Dakota area, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at CHI, St. Alexius Health, Devils Lake.

There will be visitation at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Doyon, ND on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 4:00 PM. The Funeral Service for Rosella will be on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. also at the church with burial in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Doyon.

Rosella Mae Ginther, daughter of Richard and Billie (Thomson) Ginther was born on January 18, 1944, in Devils Lake, ND. She was raised on the farm near Southam, ND and attended school in Crary, graduating with the class of 1962 from Crary High School.

She worked at Ramsey Bank until her marriage to Terry Aronson on August 22, 1964. They were the proud parents of three children, Kim, Todd, and Michelle.

Rosella was indispensable to the farming operation, keeping the farm crew fed, and always available when needed. She was a wonderful cook and baker. Rosella had a large raspberry patch and always a huge garden. Many of the pickings were used in her kitchen to prepare her delicious meals.

Rosella was always involved in her church and community. She was a 4-H leader for many years, was a member of the Tuesday Bowling League, the Wheatland Homemakers and Bethlehem Lutheran Church and WELCA.

Rosella’s six granddaughters and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. She treasured in her heart every concert and school activity she attended, every family get-together, every visit to Fosston and all those times at the lake with family.

Rosella also enjoyed casino visits with dear friends and lunch dates with her besties. Her sweet feline companion for the past 14 years, Bugsy, brought her comfort and she is now living in Fargo with Rosella’s granddaughter.

Her life was not always easy, but she kept going. She was a kind lady who showed her family so much love and will be forever in our hearts.

Rosella is survived by her three children, six granddaughters and six great grandchildren: Kim and Daryn Zinke of Crary and their daughters Dana (Brock) Walford, Devils Lake and their children James, Jaxon and Jett and Aubri, and Andrea (Brady) Pesek of Edmore and their children Rhett and Revie; Todd and Rochelle Aronson of Crary and their daughters Taylor (Jr.) Shipley of Devils Lake and their daughter Paisley and Brooke Aronson, Devils Lake; Michelle and Wayne Olson and their daughters Abby Olson, Bemidji, MN, and Emma Olson, Fargo, ND; brother Doug Ginther, Devils Lake; sister Debbie and her husband Mike Ludwig, Fountain Hills, AZ; sisters-in-law Mary Ann Ginther, Devils Lake, Twyla and Leo Boyle, Devils Lake, Lou Aronson, Bismarck, ND, Tracy and Jackie Aronson, Crary, ND; many precious nieces, nephews and their families.

She was reunited with her parents, brothers John Wayne and Richard Ginther, sister-in-law Sandy Ginther, brother-in-law Trent Aronson.

Casket Bearers will be Rosella's granddaughters. Music will be provided by Donovan Foughty, soloist and Jean Aardahl, pianist.
