Steve Gordon, 75, of Devils Lake, ND, passed away on Oct. 23, 2026, at Abott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis, MN.

Steve was born in Bremerton, WA, to Jack and Edgarlyn (Hopkins) Gordon. His family later moved to Tucson, Az, where he lived until moving to the Lakota/Doyon area while in high school. He graduated from Lakota High School in 1969. He later earned an Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting from Lake Region Junior College.

Steve owned and operated Gordon Concrete & Masonry for many years. In more recent years, he worked part time for other contractors.

Steve was married to Patricia Rutten, and together they raised their son, Brendan.

He later met Lori Garcia and together they raised their son, Kirk.

Steve is survived by his sons Brendan of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Kirk of Devils Lake, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his life partner, Lori Garcia, and his granddaughter Kira Lynn Gordon

At his request, there will be no services for Steve.
