Terry L. Maloney

Terry L. Maloney of Devils Lake, ND passed away on Monday, August 25, 2025 at the age of 60 years.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with burial to follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, rural Webster, ND.

Terry Lee, born January 5, 1965, in Breckenridge, Minnesota to Tom and Karen (Forness) Maloney. He was baptized and confirmed at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, rural Webster, ND. He attended Sweetwater Elementary School and graduated with the class of 1983 from Devils Lake Central High School. He played football in High School and loved it! But not so much the sporty of wrestling.

Terry grew up on the farm. He loved anything that had an engine. He had lots of fun with his two brothers and his sister and all the many friends, from the Sweetwater gang.

Terry was a cross-country trucker for most of his life. Starting with Schwan Oil and ending with J.T. Mertens. He often posted pictures from his truck that he called “the view from my office.”

Terry loved his family, his dear daughter Ashley, and his many friends. He loved going to Karaoke and visiting with the gang there.

He is survived by his daughter Ashley of Fargo, ND; mother Karen Maloney, Devils Lake; brother Matthew Maloney, Sheyenne, ND sister Kristi Hoey also Devils Lake; uncle Reverend Daniel Maloney, Bismarck, ND; nephews and nieces Dylan Bosak and family of Fargo, Julian Hoey and Jade Hoey of Fargo, Ramsey Hoey, Chicago, Illinois, Parker (Matt) Keller and family of Bismarck ND; aunt Lynda Syria (Jack) of Everett, Washington and lots of dear cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Tom, brother Jack Maloney, nephew Scott Maloney as well as his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

Terry was a wonderful kind soul that would do anything for anyone.

We will miss and love you always.
