Thomas Robertson III

Thomas Robertson lll,  age 49, of Spirit Lake Nation, passed away on September 12, 2025, at Good Samaritan Society Home, Lakota, North Dakota. He was born on January 24, 1976 in Devils Lake, North Dakota, and grew up on Spirit Lake Nation.

Thomas was the beloved son of Thomas Robertson Jr. and Jennifer Feather-Drake. He went to Warwick and Four Winds School where he enjoyed playing sports and building lifelong friendships. Growing up, Tiny Tom enjoyed attending powwows with his mother Jennifer and his sisters Berna and Rena. Together, they would dance at United Tribes and Winnipeg Powwows, celebrating tradition and community and would listen to his bro Ruben Crowfeather drum group “Ironboys”. He also spent much of his time hanging out with cousins and friends, creating bonds and memories that lasted throughout his life.

Tiny Tom was known for his love of fishing, hunting, and Muskrat trapping with his dad Tom. He had a sweet tooth, never turned down a snack and was a damn good cook.

He always had a funny story to share, he was always joking around and laughing with those he loved. His humor and warm spirit touched everyone who knew him. He was happiest when surrounded by his family, and he deeply cherished the time he spent with his children. His love, laughter, and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him and he deeply loved his big Robertson family and his Feather family, they were a source of strength, love, and joy in his life, and he cherished every moment he spent with them. What we will remember most about Tiny Tom is the way he had a gift for making everyone laugh, but also for making everyone feel seen, loved, and important. He lived for his children (Victoria and Jace), though his time here with us feels far too short, his memory will be carried forward in every story told, every smile and laugh shared and every hug between those who loved him. He is survived by his children, Victoria and Jace who were his greatest joy. He is also survived by his dad Thomas (Lori)Robertson, siblings; Rena Robertson, Lonna Robertson, Meghan Robertson, Amanda (Kdyn)Robertson, grandmother; Helena Littleghost, aunts; Renita Delorme, Janice Feather, Johanna Hunt, uncles; Roger Feather, Tom Lee, Dennis Corbine, Jerry (Nancy) Robertson, Paul Robertson, Mark Robertson, James Robertson, David Robertson, Daniel Rainbow, nieces; Gianna, Halle, Maria, Sadie, Lanaeah, Layla, nephews; Jacob, Pernell Jr, Terrell, Baby Victor, Easton, Eli. Tiny Tom joins in the spirit world by his mother; Jennifer Feather-Drake, sisters; Bernadette Robertson-Jackson, Taylor Drake and Brandi Robertson; brother Dwight “Wica” Hunt; grandmas Elaine Robertson, Elizabeth Littleghost, and Pauline Graywater; grandpas Thomas Robertson Sr., Emerson Robertson and Wilbert Robertson; uncles Kim Robertson and Samuel Robertson; auntie Beverly Rainbow; nephews Vernell Jackson Jr., and Kaeden Robertson; niece Lillian Jackson and cousin Crystal Robertson.

Active Pallbearers will be Pernell Jackson Sr., Pernell Jackson Jr., Terrell Jackson, Jason Robertson, Jesse Davis, Tom Lee, Baby Victor III and Dennis Corbine. Honorary Bearers are all of Tiny Tom’s close family and friends.

Music will be provided by the Lake Region Singers and all Drum Groups and Singers are welcome to share their songs in memory of Tom.

If we forgot to name someone, it was not intentional. Tiny Tom had many friends and loved them all. Please forgive us.
